Sounds like you have a good group of kids there!
With 300+ kids in our shul on a typical Shabbat, I am not sure splitting up evenly would go so well...

At our shul, the kids compete and some even bring plastic bags to collect the most candy, but then they go outside and split it up evenly. Similarly, when they play monopoly and one kid is about to lose, someone will lend him money or waive the rent so that the game can continue. After last night's march I'm thinking maybe we can learn about having a just society if we watch how thse kids play so that everyone who works can enjoy the game and reap rewards.

Hi Sam: Don't feel too bad about the IQPC thing. IQPC are sort of mercinaries in the event industry - they never miss hosting an event they can make money off of. Have a query on the wide range of topic they cover, they know nearly nothing of anything they're hosting - they just have rooms full of kids dialing for dollars trying to get sponsors. I found your site while trying to discredit these events. There's informtion out there, but IQPC has it buried! Speakign of reputation management, they've done a fantastic jobs with their Google search management - all the way down to getting employees to blog positve things to drive down sites critical of them. Glassdoor has some employee reviews that will put their tactics in perspective - and make you feel better about not buying is as a sponsor!

I think a lot of people are in search of their superpower, but in some cases it seems to find them rather than vice versa.

This is a great post! I'm still looking for my superpower. So far, I've discovered I can't fly, can't leap tall buildings in a single bound, and cannot turn things to ice with my breath. The search continues.

Making sure that search engines can find your website is the key. In today's world, most people use the Internet to do research before making their purchasing decisions. This is particularly true when it comes to people who are looking to spend a large amount of money. If your website or blog ranks well in search engine results, you can successfully market your business to those people wanting to shop online.

Wanted to go, but the wife forbade it. But, if I had known you were speaking... never mind, probably wouldn't of helped.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed it. Makes me more interested in attending it. So I will push to get there in 2011, assuming Barry pulls it off again.
